Ironically, after Kiri had been trying to catch Oricorio for almost a month, it was seeing Kiri with a bunch of Spinda that lured Oricorio close enough for a battle. She'd been planning on pranking the dizzy Pokemon. Instead she ended up joining the group because she failed to resist Kiri's puppydog baby bird eyes after getting beaten.
